esf La Rosière instructors are specially trained to support skiers with additional needs, whether skiing standing up (such as those with one leg, visual impairments, or autism) or sitting down (including individuals with quadriplegia or paraplegia).

Enjoy the slopes with the guidance of an instructor or work towards greater independence.

What equipment does the ESF at La Rosière have for seated skiers?
In partnership with the English association "Ski 2 Freedom Foundation" and the Rotary Club of Beaune, the ESF at La Rosière has three ski chairs, a dual-ski, a uniski and a ski kart.
What are the characteristics of equipment for seated skiers?
  • Ski chair: this equipment is suitable for people who are unable to ski independently, whatever their disability and whatever their weight. Whoever sits in the chair takes a back seat as the instructor takes charge of guiding the equipment.
  • Dual ski or uniski: suitable for people with strong upper limbs and abdominal muscles. The uniski requires more balance.
  • Ski kart: designed for people who have the use of their upper limbs but less balance. A steering bar allows the user to steer using just one hand.
Are insurance and a ski pass included in the price?
No, a ski pass and insurance are not included in the price.
