Our Handiski courses
esf La Rosière instructors are specially trained to supervise skiers with disabilities, whether standing up (one-legged, visually impaired, autistic...) or sitting down (quadriplegic, paraplegic...).

Enjoy the slopes with the guidance of an instructor or become more independent.

Our instructors will help you achieve your skiing goals and push back the limits of your disability!
Take advantage of a special rate for your ski pass by going to the lift ticket office with proof of your disability.

You ask; we answer!

What equipment does the ESF at La Rosière have for seated skiers?
In partnership with the English association "Ski 2 Freedom Foundation" and the Rotary Club of Beaune, the ESF at La Rosière has two ski chairs, a dual-ski, a uniski and a ski kart.
What are the characteristics of equipment for seated skiers?
  • Ski chair: this equipment is suitable for people who are unable to ski independently, whatever their disability and whatever their weight. Whoever sits in the chair takes a back seat as the instructor takes charge of guiding the equipment.
  • Dual ski or uniski: suitable for people with strong upper limbs and abdominal muscles. The uniski requires more balance.
  • Ski kart: designed for people who have the use of their upper limbs but less balance. A steering bar allows the user to steer using just one hand.
Are insurance and a ski pass included in the price?
No, a ski pass and insurance are not included in the price.
