Piou Piou lessons
Our youngest skiers begin their learning at Club Piou Piou, a private area where they can learn to ski and have fun in complete safety.
You can now book online your lessons for winter 2024-2025 ! Contact us by email for more info.

Ski lessons at Piou Piou Club
Children aged between 3 and 7 will be gently familiarised with their skis through fun games supervised by our qualified instructors.

From age 3 to 5 the children will join the Piou Piou class. 
From age 6 and 7 the children will be enrolled into the Ourson level.

Our two kindergartens offer safe playgrounds for confident, independent learning.

On the last day, Piou Piou will join the instructors to present your children with their medals. Don't hesitate to join them 15 minutes before the end of the last session!

We answer your questions

The website tells me that the courses are full. What can I do?
It is highly likely that the service you want will be sold out.
Of course, we have other times and services to offer you: please consult other times of the day.
How is my child looked after?
Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of the lesson at the Club Piou-Piou in your area to meet the instructors. Your child will need to be equipped with their ski gear (skis, ski boots and helmet) to make his or her first runs!

You don't need to go to the esf office, or even show your lesson card to the instructors: they've got the enrolment list with them!
Can parents attend their children's sessions at Club Piou Piou kindergarten?
It's only human to want to stay "hidden" to keep an eye on your child, but your little one will spot you sooner than you think, and that's likely to disrupt their learning and prevent them from having lots of fun with their new friends!
How does the medal ceremony take place?
Friday will be devoted to the presentation of medals, rewarding the progress made by your child in the company of Piou-Piou.
You can attend this convivial event by coming to Club Piou-Piou 15 minutes before the end of the last session!
What ski pass do I need?
  • Your child does not need a ski pass for the Piou-Piou level. For your information, lift passes for the La Rosière sector are free for children under 5, on presentation of proof of age. For full details of ski lift pass prices, go to La Rosière.ski
  • For the Ourson class: your child will need a ski pass during the week. The instructors will inform you the day before if you need to buy a ski pass.
How many children are in each group?
  • Piou Piou level: one instructor will be in charge of a maximum of 6 children. Several groups can ski at the same time in Club Piou-Piou. "Garden helpers", in addition to the team of instructors, will help your little ones learn to ski.
  • Ourson level: there is a maximum of 8 children per class.
Is insurance included in the price?
No, insurance is not included in the price.
